Current Opportunities
The following are opportunities to collaborate and do not constitute employment. These roles are offered on a subcontracted basis, which means that individuals will operate as independent contractors. As such, they will be responsible for their own tax and National Insurance contributions. These opportunities do not come with the benefits or protections associated with employment, such as paid leave, pension contributions, or other employee benefits. Individuals engaging in these opportunities will have the flexibility to determine how and when they complete the work, subject to the terms agreed upon in the contract.
We are looking for flexible and adaptable Substitute Teachers to cover classes in the absence of regular teachers, with a focus on adult learners. The ideal proposer must hold qualifications in both counselling and teaching to comply with our teaching standards policy.
Responsibilities include following lesson plans tailored to adult learners, managing classroom dynamics, and ensuring a productive and respectful learning environment. The ideal candidate will have strong classroom management skills, and experience in teaching adults. They should be able to adapt quickly to new environments and employ teaching methods that cater to the diverse needs and experiences of adult learners.
We only contact substitute teachers in the case of sickness or leave of the core teaching team. Their is no obligation to be available, you will simply be added to a list and we will offer you the work as a sub contracted associate.
