Our Training Workshops

The team at Long Valley Therapy Training has developed a series of counselling workshops for therapy professionals in Kent and the surrounding areas. Delivered across multiple sites (please check which site before booking), the counselling workshops draw on the diverse interests and extensive experience of our collective, promoting continuous growth and professional development. All of our counselling workshops are open to both trainee and qualified counsellors or therapists. In addition to being valuable learning opportunities, they also contribute to the professional development hours required by most professional bodies.

Each workshop is hosted by the individual named in the event description and 100% of the fee are collected by that individual; we don’t charge our colleagues to advertise on this site and we don’t take a commission. They put in the work and we happily support them as best as we can.

Working with Autistic clients

We are pleased to announce our professional development workshop titled ‘Working with Autistic Clients: a neuro-affirming Approach‘ designed for therapists and allied professionals. This workshop brings voices to the front and explores ways of understanding Autistic experience through an affirming lens.

Phenomeno…what?

Phenomenology is a foundation of Humanistic therapy and the rich potential of its method is often taken for granted. This workshop provides an opportunity to really get to grips with what it means, how it can be applied in practice and the best way to intergrate it within your personal model.
