Our Training Workshops
The team at Long Valley Therapy Training has developed a series of counselling workshops for therapy professionals in Kent and the surrounding areas. Delivered across multiple sites (please check which site before booking), the counselling workshops draw on the diverse interests and extensive experience of our collective, promoting continuous growth and professional development. All of our counselling workshops are open to both trainee and qualified counsellors or therapists. In addition to being valuable learning opportunities, they also contribute to the professional development hours required by most professional bodies.
Each workshop is hosted by the individual named in the event description and 100% of the fee are collected by that individual; we don’t charge our colleagues to advertise on this site and we don’t take a commission. They put in the work and we happily support them as best as we can.
Please click on the individual events for further details, available dates and booking instructions.

This training is for qualified counsellors or those currently in their second year of Level 4 training (or placement year). It will provide you with ‘the basics’ and prepare your to work ethically outdoors with clients. This will include managing risk, contracting and assessment. There will be plenty of time to ask questions. We will also begin thinking about the theoretical differences between indoor and outdoor therapy, and how we might move between the two.
